Painting the Odds and Ends

The balance of the parts are laid out. Many of the parts have already been primed. A few parts still require sand blasting though to clean them up before finishing including the luggage carrier.

Unpainted and primed parts are fitted to the chassis so that holes for fasteners could be verified and predrilled as needed.

Except for a few pieces such as one head lamp which we discovered was severely rusted out inside, the top of the radiator and the running board tool box, all pieces were painted with a finish coat by week ending June, 9th.

I found a good used head lamp assembly which should arrive next week. Both head lamps will need new reflectors, sockets and bulbs, however.

To the right both front fenders have been fitted to the chassis before being removed for painting.
